the warm taste of cold spaghetti

Sun May 15, 2005, 7:23 PM
...the title is a lie, there is no warmth in cold spaghetti, it is cold. good...good and cold...better when hot, but still good when cold. ears suck, well....cabin pressure sucks...airplanes suck too...i was actually kind of scared...i went to a wedding, my cousin's wedding, jennifer.
on the way there, the flight, when i first got on, i was like, "wee, been a while since ive been on one of these babies." but then i looked in the booklet to see if my cd player was an approved electronic device, and i saw some of the scenerios it walked you through, and i realized....those cushions that i am sitting on arent going to save me at 30000 feet. that little oxygen mask wasnt going to shield me from flying debris...i was sort of day dreaming, you could call it, imagining, i guess, if the plane started to go down, i thought about if i jumped out like those other fools, and then i thought about if i held on to the plane from the OUTSIDE, and i think i would rather do that, and try to hit a body of water, than stay in my seat until i slide off the wing...
while that was going through my mind, the hypnotic voice of a stewardess came on the intercom.."will the following passenger please come to the front please?...............rhahib (something, i dont remember)........will the following passenger please come to the front, thank you." and that is when i thought, oh jesus....terrorists...and i thought about how old the planes really were, i mean, think about it, they have to have the stewardesses come around and check the seatbelts, and those seatbelts are like the ones in a golf cart or something, i mean, really, new cars fo9r the past 4-5 years can TELL you if someones not wearing a seatbelt, which brings me to another point, but i wont interrupt myself, and anyway, about the terrorist, think about it, what is one supposed to do? its not like i could attack him, if he had a gun, and i had to fight him hand to hand, i think i could probably thwart him, maybe he would shoot the gun and it would hit someone, but, whats one person compared to the hundred or so who could die? then i thought, when the pilot came on the intercom and told the stewardesses to prepare the cabin for takeoff, that they should seal the cockpit (tee hee) so that no one can come in unless the pilot pushes a code in, or the person pushes a code in, or finger prints, something good...i think that would just be a lot safer. the end.
about the aging thing, that brings me to another thing. theaters. i am tired of everyone saying, "ooohh, i saw that in theaters, with superior picture quality" you know what i have to say to that? BULLSHIT! my tv has better picture quality, not even high definition, the theaters have had the same analog projectors since 1980 or whenever, the sound is the most major update the theater has gotten, put that along with crappy seats, expensive food and tickets and snot nosed asses who suspect everyone of being up to no good, and you have a whole big unenjoyable experience, i cant believe theaters dont have digital projectors, they have been out for going on 6 or 7 years! they are available for the HOME! i am serious, i would gladly go out and rent a dvd for 5 dollars, or pay 20 to own it, to go home and watch it on my 27 inch sony tv with "fake" surround sound, than go to a goddam theater and fuel the madness, in fact, if they released the movie on dvd at the same time as theaters, i wouldnt go at all, i think the theaters need to get with it, they have lost me as a customer, and i am a big movie person, in case you didnt know, but yeah, fuck the theaters...but dammit i really want to see kung fu hustle....i want to see closer too, i almost watched it today, has anyone seen it? recommend it? no? no one? no answer? oh fuck it, i wont listen to anyone anyway, i will see it if i want to anyway...the end the end.

well, i found all my stuff, all i did was take my p-word of the computer, and all my stuff came back. so i am better, ALL better. for now. i also finished the john lennon picture, it had more, but the clothes were turning out like el crappo, and i hate it when people do the face and then slack off on the clothes because they dont think it is the "focal point" of the piece, i am really into the mars volta lately, i watched the kid stays in the picture, it was basically a narrarated slide show, with clips of movies thrown in.. but the story was interesting enough to keep me watching, i watched it all, i also got a my space account, i cant find my damn digital camera though, so i only have one picture on there [link] i watched darren aronofski's pi today, it has been awhile since i watched it, i enjoyed it, again, i also watched king of new york, with christopher walken, it was ok, i had thought about buying it everytime i saw it at target or wherever for only 13 bucks or whatever, well, im glad i didnt, i dont hink i would watch it again, it was ok, but not great, not enough to watch again, i guess thats it, i am not sure what to do next, i am feeling like drawing though, i may post some random doodles in scraps, just remember they are doodles, they will probly be horrible, taks is over, and thank god, taks is from the devils called politicians, they are giving us a taste of hell so that we stay on the straight and narrow. by the way, is anyone else excited about this summer's movies? star wars episode three, mr and mrs smith, batman begins, lords of dogtown, war of the worlds, charlie and the chocolate factory....looks like we'll have some winners this summer.

by the way, p-word is password.
